AZACCA IPA (AB:7% IBUs:70)
Named after the Haitian God of agriculture, the Azacca hop has an intense tropical aroma with hints of citrus and mango. A touch of caramel malt gives a sweet backbone to support the righteous fruit character of this beer. Pouring a burnt orange color and registering at 7.0% ABV, your taste buds will worship this heavenly, hopped delight.
ALL DAY IPA (ABV: 4.7% IBUs: 42)
The beer you’ve been waiting for. Keeps your taste satisfied while keeping your senses sharp. An all-day IPA naturally brewed with a complex array of malts, grains and hops. Balanced for optimal aromatics and a clean finish. The perfect reward for an honest day’s work and the ultimate companion to celebrate life’s simple pleasures.
PORTER (ABV: 6.5% IBUs: 45)
Pours silky black with a creamy tan head. The nose is sweet with strong chocolate and caramel malt presence. No absence of hops gives Founders’ robust porter the full flavor you deserve and expect. Cozy like velvet. It’s a lover, not a fighter.
NITRO RUBAEUS (ABV: 5.7% IBUs: 15)
Our tart and refreshing homage to raspberries, Rubaeus, is softened up and rounded out with the infusion of nitrogen. The smooth, creamy mouthfeel gives the assertiveness of the raspberries a moment to linger on the tongue, bringing out a deeper, more complex richness to the beer. Brewed with pale wheat malt and crystal hops to allow the raspberries to shine; this is a fantastic way to enjoy Rubaeus year-round.
NITRO OATMEAL STOUT (ABV:4.5% IBUs:38)
A Founders take on a classic style, brewed with a generous amount of flaked oats, chocolate malt, roasted barley and a healthy helping of Nugget hops, Founders Oatmeal Stout is nitrogen-infused to give it an extra smooth and creamy mouthfeel. An attractive cascade effect gives this beer its forthright visual appeal—and the body and clean flavor deliver on that initial promise.
BREAKFAST STOUT (ABV: 8.3% IBUs: 60)
The coffee lover’s consummate beer. Brewed with an abundance of flaked oats, bitter and imported chocolates, and two types of coffee, this stout has an intense fresh-roasted java nose topped with a frothy, cinnamon-colored head that goes forever.
DIRTY BASTARD Scotch Style Ale (ABV: 8.5% IBUs: 50)
So good it’s almost wrong. Dark ruby in color and brewed with seven varieties of imported malts. Complex in finish, with hints of smoke and peat, paired with a malty richness and a right hook of hop power to give it the bad attitude that a beer named Dirty Bastard has to live up to. Ain’t for the wee lads.
BACKWOODS BASTARD (ABV: 11.2% IBUs: 50)
Expect lovely, warm smells of single malt scotch, oaky bourbon barrels, smoke, sweet caramel and roasted malts, a bit of earthy spice and a scintilla of dark fruit. It’s a kick-back sipper made to excite the palate.
LIZARD OF KOZ (ABV: 10.5% IBUs: 40)
A rich and tart stout using fresh Michigan blueberries, rich chocolate and vanilla – aged in bourbon barrels to round out those beautiful flavors.
In honor of David Alton turning 30 today. At 3pm we will be tapping a rarely seen beer on cask. Fremont Brewing 2013 B bomb aged with Dark Cherries. Come and join us.
